What is Consulting at KPMG?
Our Consulting teams immerse themselves in our clients’ businesses, applying sector knowledge and technological solutions to help companies grow and thrive. We offer programmes across a range of areas, such as Customer, Risk & Regulatory, People, Financial and Operational Transformation through to Forensic Technology. We’re proud to share that we’ve been rated a top management consultancy in the Financial Times’ rankings for six year’s running, based on the recommendations of clients and peers.
As a Consulting Apprentice, you'll be setting off on a journey of discovery that’s exciting and intellectually challenging. You’ll have limitless opportunities to work on interesting projects that make a difference to businesses, people and communities, such as innovative approaches to reducing carbon footprints or improving access to life-saving care. We’ll empower you to collaborate with specialists within your team and the wider firm, gaining learning that will last you a lifetime. You’ll have the support you need to build your confidence, broaden your knowledge and be at your best, as you progress your career.
Training and Benefits
With the KPMG community by your side, you’ll have the support to grow in your own way. Our Consulting Apprenticeship has been specifically designed to equip you with the skills you need to hit the ground running, after two years, on one of our established Graduate pathways.
Years 1 + 2: Rotations across our Consulting business whilst being equipped with a tailored programme of ‘Core Consulting’ training to support your development and working towards a Level 4 Junior Management Consulting Apprenticeship.
Years 3 – 5: Specialisation in one of our Consulting teams, following an established Graduate pathway, including the option to complete a Level 7 professional qualification relevant to your team (e.g. ACA, CIMA, CIPD or ChMC).
We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits too, including 25 days’ holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. What’s more, you can take up to six days of time off to take part in volunteering initiatives.
Our firm’s hybrid working model focusses on the importance of collaborating in offices and at client sites. We trust our people to be where our clients need them to be, with our client-facing colleagues working together in person as often as needed. You’ll be empowered by the technology that supports us to work flexibly, building friendships and shared experiences, innovating, and learning together.
