Are you driven and determined enough to build a career in the Supply Chain of the world’s largest food and drink manufacturer? Want to work in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of retail?

Whenever and wherever our consumers choose to shop, our supply chain professionals ensure that Nestlé’s cherished brands are available on shelf. If you’re ambitious and love to ensure that demand is always met, then a Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship with Nestlé is the perfect opportunity for you.

Supply Chain Professionals ensure that raw materials from all over the world are sourced, forecasted, manufactured and delivered onto the shelf, on time and in full, ready for consumers to purchase. This is done through accurate forecasting, responsive manufacturing and agile logistics, all while working to maximise cost efficiency through the entire process.

Our Supply Chain Practitioner scheme runs for three years, mixing real on-the-job work experience with a variety of teaching methods including classroom, online and in-work assessments. If you perform well on the Apprenticeship, Nestlé will continue to support your journey and help you further your career.  In future years, you may also have the potential to become a leader within our global business.

Whilst the scheme will be York based in Year 1 successful applicants will have the opportunity to work across different Nestlé UK sites during the course of their Apprenticeship to help build their knowledge and understanding.

Who are we looking for?

To join our Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship in September 2017, we're looking for people who are naturally inquisitive, are driven to learn new skills and have the ability to solve problems. As customer and consumer needs are always changing, you will need to react to ensure we deliver the right product to the right place at the right time in the safest and most efficient way.

In addition you will need 5 GCSEs or equivalent (actual or predicted) at grades A* - C, which must include English and Maths. An ICT qualification is also preferable but not essential.

If you are successfully selected to attend one of our Assessment Centres, these will be held on Tuesday 4th April and Wednesday 5th April 2017 at Nestlé House, York.

Closing date for applications is Friday 17th March 2017.
