About the programme
You’ll be part of a supercharged Home Service Teamwho work in our customers’ homes and businessesacross the UK. Your role will be to install, service anddemonstrate our incredible TV and broadband products. Andonce the technical work is done, you’ll be excited to showcase what’s possible in a fun and inspirational way ensuring our customers receive an amazing experience every time.
Our programme offers roles across the UK and, no matter where you join, you’ll get seven weeks of both face-to-face and virtual training to learn the skills and knowledge required for the role. And you’ll pick up the ropes from a role model by shadowing them for six months of your apprenticeship.
As an Apprentice with us you’ll be fully supported to achieve a nationally recognised Customer Service qualification by the end of your first 15 months at Sky. In your first four weeks, you’ll be fully supported by a learning specialistin our Start@Sky programme – learning all about our how we deliver outstanding customer service, making you an expert in thisfield. We’ll also assign you a buddy and assessor to guide you through your day-to-day tasks.

- Level 2/3 Customer Service Practitioner Qualification
- You’ll roll off this programme into a permanent position with Sky.
What you’ll need to be
You’ll need a minimum of two GCSEs A* – C (or equivalent grades 9-4) if you’re applying for a role in England.
- Great at building and maintaining relationships
- Passionate about Sky and hungry to learn
- Collaborative and great with people
- Approachable and adaptable
- Attention focussed and thorough
- A full UK manual driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
- Flexible worker. You’ll have a set shift pattern, but it mayinclude some bank holidays, evenings and weekends.
Your initial month of employment will our dedicated Home Service Engineering training programme. This has been designed to give you the customer engagement and practical skills needed for this role. We therefore request that no holiday is booked during this time.

Once your application hasbeensubmitted you’ll be invited to the next stage (so look out for our email, you may need to check your junk mail just in case) which is a series of Situational Judgement Questions. If you are successful at this stage, you’l l be invited to complete a telephone interview.
The final stage of your applicationwill be a digital assessment day. You’ll have the opportunity to impressus through a variety
of tasks, which may include a group discussion, anindividual interview, and smaller programme related exercises.
