You will quickly learn how to work on live legal matters and have contact with clients. You won’t be thrown in at the deep end; your training will be carefully planned and you will work in a supportive team environment but will be doing a real job and contributing to the DAC Beachcroft business.

As a paralegal apprentice you can expect to either be assisting lawyers with their caseload or managing your own caseload of less complex files, with close supervision.

The Claims Solutions Group advises insurers and corporate clients in their defence of claims of all values, types and complexity.

Our market leading credit hire team works with over 40 insurance companies and self-insured corporates. The team deals with all aspects of defendant credit hire dispute resolution, providing an end to end solution. The team also provides pre-emptive advice on these issues whilst also assisting clients formulate their own strategies.

The credit hire team deals with credit hire claims from small track to multi track including fraudulent credit hire claims. Our team will also deal with liability, indemnity and associated losses including personal injury, credit repair and diminution.

The team has a progressive approach and a market leading reputation for not simply tackling the claims themselves from a litigation perspective, but also for tracking and analysing behaviours and trends with a view to providing insurers with bespoke strategies.

Typical tasks include liaising with clients and others; preparation and collation of correspondence of reports, legal and business research, and general administration duties such as maintaining an effective filing system.
