Joining our Paint Department
It takes incredible craftsmanship to deliver Rolls-Royce quality and getting the finish perfect is vital for every Rolls-Royce. So the work of our Paint Shop couldn't be more important. You'll learn all about it on an apprenticeship covering every aspect of finishing, including spraying, sanding and polishing.

Your Career Development:
As a Rolls-Royce Paint Shop Apprentice you will be attending college on a block release basis.
After finding your feet in the first year, you'll be ready to step up to greater workloads in the second and third - all the while studying for your Level 3 apprenticeship. Your training will be accompanied by technical qualifications specialising in Paint.
Your career with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will be designed to meet individual aspirations and the business needs of an internationally recognised company. You start on a business awareness programme followed by career objective training in the relevant departments.

40 hour working week. Apprentice start and finish times at Goodwood are 06:00 – 14:30 but may vary slightly according to work based placements. College times varying according to the timetable.

The Assessment Centres will be taking place on either Wednesday 27th February 2019 or during the week commencing Monday 29th April 2019.
Qualifications and experience
As part of your application you will need to upload a copy of your most recent school report* and a CV. If you don’t have a school report then please upload a CV and an employer reference. If you don’t have an employer reference then please upload a CV and a personal statement.
*If you are currently studying you must upload a school/college report. Failure to attach the above will mean we will be unable to progress with your application
• A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade 4 (or above) or Grade C (or above) in the old GCSE grading structure, including Maths and English.
• Good problem solving and manual skills.
• An eye for detail
• Team spirited, you’re someone who can focus on the job at hand even when the pressure’s on
• Proactive and self-motivated with an interest and passion for luxury cars
• You will need to have good communication skills, the ability to think logically and to work independently or as part of these teams.
