About the Programme

Starting in Autumn 2020, the Business Services apprenticeship programme provides a fully paid BCS Level 4 Diploma in Data Analysis Concepts and you will also become an EMC Data Science Associate over a 16-month duration, as well as gaining an invaluable professional experience in a very exciting role.

Over the duration of the programme, you will have the opportunity to develop your capabilities as a data analyst, being taught how to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. Your learning and development will be supported by a structured training programme.

Job Description

The Performance Centre of Excellence, Business Services forms part of the wider Delivery team, which sits within the Commercial Banking Division. The team’s aim is to systematically improve the client experience and accelerate business productivity through the development of market-leading, data-driven analytics. The team is responsible for embedding a performance framework within the coverage, product and operational areas of Commercial Banking, through provision of high quality innovative reporting that drives informed business decisions, development of MI solutions, and supporting strategic initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Performance team. It will involve delivering high quality and impactful performance information.  It will also involve interpreting complex performance data and managing the production of high quality visual analysis, to ensure a robust and innovative Data Analytics service across the Commercial Bank.

The successful applicant will have an analytical mind with an ambition to develop this capability professionally, and a proven track record in delivering with a high attention to detail, in a timely fashion.

Entry requirements

Grade C or above in at least five GCSEs including English and Mathematics

104 UCAS points or equivalent

You will undertake an assessment centre as part of the selection process.

Starting salary of £22,950
