Dstl is responsible for designing, developing and applying the very latest in science and technology for the benefit of UK defence and security, across government. In our work, we partner with other brilliant people – collaborating with everyone from small companies and world-class universities, to large defence organisations and other nations. Together, we develop battle-winning technologies, based on deep and widespread research.
On this apprenticeship, you’ll learn crucial project management processes and help to deliver projects that are vital to defence and technology support. Importantly, you’ll become the first point of contact for internal requests and you’ll maintain project documentation and information. One of your priorities will be to keep up to date with your projects and identify when changes might need to be made.
It’s a role that’s crucial to Dstl, so we’re after someone with a keen interest in science and technology. You’ll need to hold a minimum of 120 UCAS points - or equivalent - along with a good understanding of project management. Your commercial acumen means that also you have sound knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation. Plus, as a forward-thinking individual, you’ll be eager to learn more and confident working in a team.
