Looking for a career that blends organisational skills with dynamic problem solving? With our Business Administration Apprenticeship programme, you’ll embark on a journey to master the art of efficiency, communication, and strategic thinking.

About the programme

Here at Cavendish Nuclear, we see our apprentices as the future of our business – passing on the vital skills and knowledge they need to help us create a safe and secure world, together.

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of our business are efficient and effective. Supporting the Cavendish Nuclear Greeson Court office in Westlakes Science Park, you’ll develop your knowledge in areas such as document control, planning and organisation, customer service, spend management and generating requests for products and services.

You’ll also learn how to use a wide range of software for business support purposes, including Word, Excel, SAP and COUPA. Throughout the programme you’ll have the opportunity to finesse a wide range of interpersonal skills, ensuring your written and verbal communication is tailored to the right audiences, allowing you to build business relationships that flourish.

Your education/training

In addition to the on-site training you’ll receive at Cavendish Nuclear’s Greeson Court in Westlakes Science Park, you’ll work towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard. Delivered by Lakes College, this qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need for a successful career in all types of business environments.

What you’ll need

•    A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above in subjects including Maths, English and Business.
•    A genuine interest in business administration and management.

Further details are available at United Kingdom Security Vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk). For our early careers roles, you must be able to achieve BPSS and many of them require you to be eligible for Security Clearance.
