Facilities Services Apprenticeship
Apprenticeships are a great way to get your career off to an early start, gaining recognised industry qualifications and a salary at the same time. At Womble Bond Dickinson, we recognise that university isn't for everyone and we've created a number of opportunities that allow you to start a rewarding career right now.
In 2017 we won an award at the National Apprenticeship Awards ceremony held in London. Building on our past success we have an exciting opportunity within our Facilities Team based in our Bristol office for a Facilities Services Apprentice.
About the Facilities team
Our Facilities team are one of the many functions that keep our business running making sure that we have a great place to work and everything we need to be able to deliver results effectively. That includes our catering facilities, reception teams, building maintenance and postroom and operational support. You see? We couldn't function without them. You'll initially start within our postroom which will give you a fantastic grounding in our business and an understanding of how we operate, and could be a springboard into a number of exciting opportunities in the future.
What you'll be doing
As an apprentice in this team you'll enjoy a wide variety of tasks, working closely with more experienced facilities professionals, who will be only too happy to mentor and guide you through your formal qualification. You'll be given all the time and support you need to study towards your Certificate in Facilities Services. (Level 2). You can find more information about what this apprenticeship involved in the video below from Becky, she joined as an Apprentice and has recently stepped in to an assistant facilities manager role on an interim basis.
