ROLE AND CONTEXT

Through our Investment 2020 trainee programme Aberdeen have an excellent opportunity for a School / College leaver who is looking to establish a career within the Asset Management Industry. We will provide you with a structured 12 month training contract working in our Business Systems team. Reporting to the Head of Operational Support Services, the role is designed to provide general support to all teams within the change/project/support lifecycle within Aberdeen Asset Management.

The analyst will work with the team in supporting the rest of the Technology teams with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to;

• Management information gathering and reporting

• Resource management

• Invoice processing

• User access recertification

• Test script execution

• Resolution of support calls

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General support to projects and teams across Business Systems, including financial controls, MI, budgeting, resourcing and administration. Our analysts are also involved in automation of manual processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Attention to detail

• Good time management skills

• Team player

• Good communication skills both verbal and written

• Excel and possibly Visual Basic skills

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail

• Energy, drive and enthusiasm in their approach to work, a flexible and team focused working style
