About the Role
Gas Transmission operates and maintains the national gas transmission system in the UK. Historically, our gas has come from the UK continental shelf fields. But with these resources running out fast, we’re looking at other supplies and sources, including importing international gas supplies. It’s a new phase, making this an even more exciting time to join.
Our National Transmission System (NTS) which stretches right across Scotland, England and Wales is made up of approximately 9,000 km of high pressure steel pipelines and 25 compressor stations. Joining the Gas Transmission team behind it, you’ll help them deliver the improvements essential to its ongoing safety, reliability and security whilst also working on external customer projects.
