ROLE AND CONTEXT

Through our Investment 2020 trainee programme Aberdeen have an excellent opportunity for a School / College leaver who is looking to establish a career within the Asset Management Industry. We will provide you with a structured 12 month training contract working in our Business Systems – Global team.

This is an opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in IT and software development to join a Global Platforms Development team, responsible for development, support and administration of SharePoint.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of object oriented programming and computer science. Relevant training will be provided.

Our programme is designed to offer relevant professional qualifications, training and learning opportunities to recent school and college leavers who are looking for their first role within the industry.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring and managing Helpdesk tickets

• Support BAU tasks and queries raised via the Helpdesk

• Create and deliver SharePoint sites

• SharePoint support, development and administration

• Update relevant documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Interest in technology and software development

• Understanding of object orientated programming and computer science

• Knowledge of C#, HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, and JQuery is advantageous but not essential

• Customer service orientation

• Strong communications skills
