Joining our Woodshop and Lacquer Department
This program will give you an in-depth introduction to the range of wood and lacquering operations involved in Rolls-Royce production. This is your chance to turn your passion for cars into a worthwhile, rewarding career with a company that makes the very best.

Your Career Development:
As a Rolls-Royce Wood Shop and Lacquer Apprentice you will gain a general appreciation of the wood and lacquering process through 'On the Job' training coupled with day release at College.
You'll spend three years developing your skills by working your way round the department, as well as earning a Level 3 NVQ in Modern Manufacturing . After that, there may be the option to take things to the next level with a fourth year of training. Your training will be accompanied by technical qualifications in Wood and Lacquering.
The final year will be in a field of expertise in preparation for potential employment in the relevant discipline.
Your career with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will be designed to meet individual aspirations and the business needs of an internationally recognised company.
You start on a business awareness programme followed by career objective training in the relevant departments.

40 hour working week. Apprentice start and finish times at Goodwood are 06:00 – 14:30 but may vary slightly according to work based placements. College times varying according to the timetable.

The Assessment Centres will be taking place on either Wednesday 27th February 2019 or during the week commencing Monday 29th April 2019.
Qualifications and experience

*If you are currently studying you must upload a school/college report. Failure to attach the above will mean we will be unable to progress with your application.
• A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade 4 (or above) or Grade C (or above) in the old GCSE grading structure, including Maths and English.
• Your dedication, enquiring mind and collaborative spirit will be a valuable asset to the team.

• You will need to have good communication skills, the ability to think logically and to work independently or as part of these teams.
