What can you expect?

Our Food Manufacturing Apprenticeship gives you the chance to play your part in helping our manufacturing teams achieve even greater success. You'll spend time being trained by our experts on how to operate within a food production environment, learning about quality, hygiene and safety standards and Continuous Improvement methods. You'll get the chance to work in a range of different production departments to develop your experience.

Your qualification will be the new Level 3 Trailblazers Advanced Process Operator Apprenticeship, an apprenticeship programme lasting up to three years which mixes practical training with real on the job work experience.

Your starting salary will be £16,500 and will increase each year providing you've successfully completed your training and met our Nestlé standards. You will develop the skills to succeed and grow your career in Nestlé with opportunities to progress, potentially becoming one of our experts in a range of fields.

Who are we looking for?

Due to shift working, there is a minimum age requirement for this role and you must be 18 or over on 1st September 2017.


To be considered for our Food Manufacturing Apprenticeship, starting in September 2017, you'll need:

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent (actual or predicted) at grades A* - C (must include English and Maths)
  • A desire to learn new skills
  • A commitment to quality, hygiene and safety
  • Initiative and the ability to solve problems.

If you are successfully selected to attend our Assessment Centre, this will be held on Wednesday 19th April 2017 and Thursday 20th April 2017.
