What you will do:

An apprenticeship with us will see you building new skills, while applying your knowledge to real-world live projects. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore your potential and you’ll enjoy full support from your line manager and a mentor. You will be required to ensure that you adhere to safe working practices and also be able to take instructions and act upon them in a prompt and professional manner. We are offering a full-time permanent Apprenticeship Program for talented people. This is a genuine alternative to university for people who have a passion for practical engineering and who want to launch their career with us. The apprenticeship will combine on-the-job work experience, with time at college to achieve NVQ level 3 and leading to an HNC level 4 qualification.

How you will do it:

The 4 year apprenticeship would offer the opportunity to join the Production Systems team based in Wymondham, Norwich working alongside technicians and engineers who are leaders in their field. You will learn about bespoke hydraulic power generation and control safety systems, chemical injection/ dosing systems and fire suppression systems (water and gaseous). You will gain knowledge in rules and regulations to provide guidance in designing systems.

Your main focus will be on electrical installation and testing but will have the opportunity to learn mechanical skills to become a multidiscipline engineering technician. You will follow appropriately focused electrical and fluid power training at local colleges. The manufacturing facility will provide you with the opportunity to be mentored by a talented group of technical engineers who are proud to manufacture high quality bespoke equipment that is used across the globe.

You will have the opportunity to gain higher education qualifications in Engineering Studies, NVQ3 and with possible options to HNC level 4.
