Our Level 2 Credit Controller Apprenticeship

Applications for our Level 2 Credit Controller Apprenticeship are now open for a September 2024 start.

This apprenticeship is aimed at those that have completed A Levels or equivalent studies and are looking to embark on an exciting career and earn as they learn. The apprenticeship will provide an insight into a global law firm's financial activities, regulatory requirements and month and year end preparations. The working capital function at Kennedys are responsible for ensuring that the firm is paid on a timely basis for the legal services it has provided to clients.

The apprenticeship will be based in our Chelmsford office working alongside the Working Capital Team. As an apprentice you will be involved in administration around the collections and billing process, provision of updates to lawyers on cash collected and some exposure to collection of low value bills. Working in the credit control function will provide an excellent grounding in the systems and processes used to facilitate cash collection, and an understanding of debt ledgers.

In addition to a dedicated supervisor at Kennedys, you will have a tutor at Kaplan to ensure that you have all the support you need at work and with your studies. We offer a competitive salary (paying at a minimum the UK Living wage both in and outside London).

Kaplan will be our learning provider for the Level 2 Credit Controller apprenticeship. Apprentices can attend face-to-face classroom based lessons, Live Online sessions or OnDemand. The apprenticeship will involve working at Kennedys four days a week and having one day a week to study.

To be considered for an apprenticeship, you will need:

  • 3 x A-Levels or equivalent at Grade B or above.

Applications close on 30 April 2024.

Please let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments or additional support in order to submit your application to Kennedys.
