Top Employers 2020
The Top 150 Employers and Top 100 Training Providers is based entirely on the opinions of apprentices currently undertaking programmes at the leading UK employers and training providers. Apprentices completed surveys analysing everything about their employers and training programmes, from skills development and career progression to training and company culture. We also used the surveys to rank individual categories – Intermediate, Advanced, Higher, and Degree Apprenticeships, and school leaver programmes – as well as industry-specific categories acknowledging the top employers in their particular fields.
A handful of categories were ranked by judging panels, lending their expertise to specific issues. School Leaver of the Year, Intermediate Apprentice of the Year, Advanced Apprentice of the Year, Higher Apprentice of the Year, Degree Apprentice of the Year, Best Recruitment Campaign, Best School Engagement, Most Innovative Recruitment Campaign and The Diversity & Inclusion Award were decided by an independent industry panel.
We hope both the Top 150 Employers and Top 100 Training Providers rankings help school leavers make well-informed decisions about what first steps to take in their career.
